These terms apply to your use of this website. By using it, you accept them; if you do not, please do not use the site. “We”, “us” and “our” mean the business behind Cedrus.

This site describes Cedrus, software for insurers, MGAs and UMAs. It is for information only. Nothing on it is an offer of insurance, an offer to supply Cedrus, or a licence to use it. Using Cedrus is agreed with us directly, in a separate contract; it cannot be bought through this site.

We are not an insurer and not a financial services provider. Nothing on this site is financial, legal or other professional advice, or an intermediary service under the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act 37 of 2002. Where the site describes regulation, such as conduct rules or POPIA, it explains what the software does, not what the law requires of you. Your business remains accountable for its own compliance.

Anything described on this site as next in line or planned is a plan, not a commitment: it may change, arrive later, or not arrive at all.

Screens, names, numbers and documents marked “Illustrative data” are made up to show how Cedrus works. They are not real customers, policies, claims or results.

We work to keep this site accurate and current, but it is provided as it is. We do not guarantee that it is complete, free of errors or always available, and we may change or remove any part of it at any time.

You may view, download and print pages to evaluate Cedrus for your business, and share them with colleagues for that purpose. Please do not copy, scrape, frame or republish the site. Do not try to get unauthorised access to it or interfere with how it works; that can be an offence under the Cybercrimes Act 19 of 2020.

The content and design of this site, and the Cedrus name and mark, belong to us or are used with permission. Using the site gives you no right to use them beyond what these terms allow.

Where this site links to another website, we do not control that site and are not responsible for its content or for how it handles your information.

We take reasonable care to keep this site secure, but no website is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that the site, or anything you download from it, is free of viruses or other harmful code, so please use your own protection.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, that comes from using this site, relying on its content, or the site being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as for gross negligence or fraud.

How we handle personal information is set out in our privacy notice, which forms part of these terms.

We may update these terms. The version on the site when you use it is the one that applies; the date at the top shows when it last changed.

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa, and the courts of South Africa have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. If a court finds any part of these terms invalid or unenforceable, the rest of them still applies.
